We provide vital critical medical care by land and air, across Wiltshire and Bath.

In effect, we give the same level of critical care as a hospital but bring the expert team and specialist equipment to the people in need. And we do it as fast as humanly possible.

On call all year round for up to 19 hours, on average they respond to four incidents daily, attending by helicopter and critical care car.

As a registered charity, we don’t receive government funding, relying entirely on voluntary donations and support from our local Wiltshire and Bath communities.

Ansko's Story

In July 2024 I was riding a motorbike on Salisbury Plain when I was hit by another vehicle. I had a huge pain in my chest, and it was getting harder and harder to breathe. At that point I wasn’t even aware of how badly the rest of my body had been impacted.

Within 11 minutes of take-off, pilot Simon, doctor Rosie and specialist critical care paramedic Matt were at my side to stabilise me, provide treatment and transfer me to Southmead hospital. I’ve required ongoing physio and rehab exercises to regain my mobility and independence, and to return to my role as a stunt performer. It literally feels like they’re angels from the sky.

"Everything is so well planned, helping the crew reach the people who need them most as quickly as possible and give them the best possible care. Someone had already donated or raised money for the crew to be there for me, and that’s the reason I’m alive today."
